Phil Hogan on the TTIP: “GMOs have to be labeled clearly”. The European Commission insists on the necessity to clearly label genetically modified products, especially in the context of the possible ratification of the free trade agreement with the United States. Phil Hogan, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, declared in an interview that compromises in regard to norms on consumer protection will not be accepted: being able to identify a GM product only by scanning its bar code, like the Americans seem to suggest, is not an option.

Milk: Producers Attack the World Leader Lactalis: Three months before the end of the milk quotas, milk producers get together in the context of an overproduction that will cause the crumbling of prices and accuse the world leader Lactalis, who is known for his brands Président and Lactel.
